Hotel Igarape

In room 105, the mattress is basically just springs, and the air conditioning doesn’t cool.

The location, close to everything, was the best value for money, but the services need to improve. Our three-bed room had no sheets, they don’t provide soap, and there were cockroaches. Breakfast was reasonable, but on Sunday it only starts at 7 a.m. A lot of guests had exams that morning, yet they wouldn’t open earlier, so unfortunately we had to leave without breakfast.

For a work stay, the location was ideal. Nearby, I found everything I needed: a market, laundry, pharmacy, gym, and easy access for getting around. The hotel was good value and clean enough. The only reason the stay wasn’t 10/10 was that we arrived late Sunday without knowing there was a bar right next door, playing extremely loud music until late. It was quieter during the week.

The management is very polite and attentive, and the rooms are very clean. There’s hot and cold water, a minibar, very good Wi-Fi, and a TV. Breakfast was very good too. The hotel is well located, just a few meters from a market, restaurants, a pharmacy, and other places. I’ve looked all over Parauapebas for a good hotel at a fair price, and this was the one. I’ve said a lot, but I’m not friends with the owner or related to them.
