Italian Hotel

The hotel was quiet and well located, and the room was roomy even though it was simple. The bed was okay and the shower was nice. There was a little table that worked for a meal or getting some work done, plus a spot where guests could iron clothes. Breakfast was delicious, with enough variety and tasty items. The chocolate cake was wonderful, you could tell they’d put care into it. I stayed with my husband and baby and was welcomed warmly, even though we arrived after midnight. A couple of things may matter to some guests: there are no windows in the rooms, though the air conditioning does the job, and the restaurant doesn’t have a baby high chair. The first room we saw had a bit of mold, but I asked to see another one and they sorted it out. We stayed in room 110.

My rating went down because the cigarette smoke smell kept me up all night. I could barely sleep.

The hotel is clean and well organized, and the staff were helpful. Wi-Fi worked, and breakfast was decent, with enough to get by. My room had a very small bathroom, though, and there were some noises from outside at night. It’s a good place for the price. It’s a little way from downtown but not too far, and there can be a small traffic jam in the morning where the road joins the avenues leading to the center.

Thanks, Italian. We were traveling with a baby, and when checkout time came, they offered us extra time at no charge. We stayed until 5 p.m., which worked perfectly with our transport schedule.
