Helus Motel

I usually come by car, but this time I arrived by Uber and got treated differently. The receptionist was awful. Terrible service, and I don’t recommend the place. At this rate, it’ll be empty in a few days.

I didn’t like the experience. They told us to come in while the person responsible for cleaning was still cleaning, and when we left, she watched us instead of giving us privacy. She could have been more considerate.

We stayed in suite 13 on 09/02/2024, and were disappointed with the room. The ceiling mirror was completely moldy, the sheets were stained, the pillowcase was torn, and the pillow was awful. There was hair and dust all over the floor. The garage and stairway were filthy too, with cigarette butts and papers scattered across the ground. The room seemed very expensive for what was offered.

Watch out. The check-in time shown on the website differs from what the motel charges in person. Once you’re already settled in, they tell you they’ll charge for an extra night. My suitcase was left in the motel garage, where it was broken into and my belongings were rummaged through. I assume someone was looking for money. Then, when I closed my bill, I found I was charged for a different, more expensive dish than the one I’d ordered. In short, stay away from this place.
