The garden view over the lake was lovely, and so were the in-room whirlpool and breakfast. We also really enjoyed the restaurant food, which was tasty and well prepared, and the waiters were attentive and helpful. The whole stay was sensational, and I’d strongly recommend spending at least 2-3 nights there. A couple of things could be improved: our bathroom could use an update like the ones in the upstairs rooms, and kitchen noise sometimes bothered us in the room late in the morning. The restaurant also wasn’t open every day. None of that took away from the stay.

The food was wonderful, and my family and I made a point of meeting the cook. She has a real gift for it, and our waiter looked after us very well. Jaqueline also gave us especially good service. It was my second time staying here, and it’s well worth it. The Hotel is charming, has the best location in Miguel Pereira, and the views are the prettiest. Breakfast was fantastic too. I’d recommend it to everyone.

My stay was awful. I paid a high price because I wanted a room with a whirlpool, but neither one we tried was usable. I booked the Mykonos room, which was clean, but when we turned on the whirlpool, filthy black, foul-smelling water came out and left the whole room smelling bad. It was already very late, so we waited until morning to complain. The receptionist moved us to a neighboring suite, but its whirlpool also gave off dirt and smelled bad. The hotel charged the full booking price and offered us a sparkling wine as a “gift” instead of taking anything off the bill. I can’t recommend a hotel of this size that handles a situation like this by insisting on the money. It shows how unprepared they are to deal with guests. The stairs up to the suites are a real ordeal, too. The air conditioning in the room we were moved to barely cooled it and didn’t work properly. Truly terrible.

The lake view was beautiful, especially over Lago Javary, and the outdoor setting was charming and very pleasant. I had a great few days here. The room was small but comfortable, though I had trouble with the air conditioning because it didn’t work well. Breakfast was great, and the team provided very good service from my first WhatsApp contact. Special thanks to Jaqueline and Lívia for being so kind and attentive. I recommend it for the view.
