The owner decided to renovate rooms around our apartment at Skyline without telling us about the construction, then “offered” us a room at this hotel. He charged us for it even though we should have been compensated for the noise disturbance we hadn't been notified about. I found the owner greedy and a disgusting scammer.

The breakfast was a highlight, with plenty of fruit and lots of cake choices. Our room was clean, and the shower had strong pressure and a good flow. The Hotel is also very close to Brasileirinho Beach, where we ate dinner on all three nights in Penha. My room faced the street, so traffic noise from cars, motorcycles, and buses carried in at night. I was tired from the park, which helped me sleep, but without that I think it would've been difficult. The mattress was too soft, and the pillows were very low. One other thing to know: the listing on Booking says the hotel is 500m from Beto Carrero, but that's incorrect. It's 1200m from the hotel to the park entrance at the castle, which matters if you're traveling with children and planning to walk.

We walked to and from the park without any trouble, and there were restaurants along the way. The area felt safe, and the hotel had a welcoming feel. Check-in was easy, our room was clean, and the beds were comfortable. Breakfast had lots of fresh options. They always replied quickly on WhatsApp and helped me with a special request at night 🍌. I'd recommend staying here and would come back.
