Pousada Coração do Parque

The location is excellent, and I’ve stayed here twice already. Breakfast was very good, and there’s a small pool that’s nice to use on hot days, plus a space beside it where you can sit and chat. The rooms were clean and had sheets, towels, a minibar and air conditioning. From the upstairs rooms, you can see the castle. I recommend it.

The parking area seemed a little small to me, but our car stayed inside the whole time, so it worked out fine. The inn is right across from the park exit, less than a five-minute walk away. Our room was clean, organized and a good size, with a nicely kept bathroom. Breakfast was very good too. I’d recommend the place.

If the park is your main reason for coming, this place is great because it’s so close. The staff were lovely, and the breakfast was complete and very good. The room was fine for two, but felt small for a large family, especially if you bring a lot of luggage. One thing that bothered us was housekeeping entering without letting us know. They went into our room while we were out twice. We were also told someone would be available on WhatsApp, but I got no reply when I messaged at night, so don’t count on an urgent response then. Since the rooms are containers, you can hear everything from the rooms beside you. Still, it was a very good stay overall.

We arrived, saw the place, and decided not to stay. It has an awful smell, and I wouldn’t call it an inn, more like lodging, with containers stacked on top of each other. The location felt isolated and was terrible for us, and the place didn’t look like the photos posted on decolar. The listing on decolar never said it would be container lodging. We had to find somewhere else, and they wouldn’t refund our money. I have photos and am sure I’ll take legal action. Look at the photos and decide for yourselves.
