Pousada Dalmar

The pousada felt cozy and welcoming, and Sra. Darci, who owns it, was so polite and friendly that we felt at ease right away. It’s very clean, with bed linen and towels provided, plus breakfast included in the nightly rate. There’s laundry service for R$5 per item. Beto Carrero is close enough to walk to, and Galera's Mix, a great self-service restaurant, is nearby too.

Sra. Darci was lovely and very helpful, sharing lots of ideas for things to do, and we were welcomed warmly from the start. Breakfast had a good range of options, and the rooms were cleaned daily with bed and bath linen provided. Bring your own toiletries. The pousada is very close to Beto Carrero. I recommend it, and we’ll be back.

We stayed at Pousada Dalmar in August, and my family and I had a really happy few days there. The breakfast Dona Darcy makes was delicious, with those little touches that come from experience. The owners live and work at the pousada, which gives the place a warm, family feel, and the service was excellent. It’s just behind Beto Carrero, very close to the park. For the area, it seems like one of the best value options, especially if you like somewhere simple, practical, cozy, and family-run.
