Pousada Joana Guest House

Everything was lovely, and the place felt really peaceful. The owners were so friendly at reception. We’ll be back.

There were 20 of us in my family, and we all loved the stay. The staff made us feel right at home, and everything we needed was there in one inn. The rooms were spacious, clean, and smelled fresh. Breakfast was wonderful, fresh, and had plenty of variety. The pool was large and very clean, and the kids loved the big, warm jacuzzi. The internet was great too. Thanks to everyone for making our trip so special. A huge hug to you all. We’ll definitely come back soon.

My boyfriend and I were really disappointed with our stay. We booked a suite with a bathtub in the room, but there was no special soap for it. The TV only had local channels, with no cable, and breakfast was extremely basic, nothing like the photos used to present the inn. On Sunday, when we wanted to sleep in, an employee arrived early and made enough noise to wake us at 7:20 a.m. It was a horrible experience.

The one good thing was breakfast, and the inn is close to Beto Carrero, about six minutes by car. The rest of my stay was awful. I paid for three days but could barely manage two because of the dirt. The rooms weren't cleaned, there was noise all the time, even late into the night, and they didn't provide toilet paper or soap. The comforters smelled moldy, and the minibar door in my room wouldn't close. My drinks got warm and water flooded the room. The Wi-Fi didn't work in the rooms, and the pool was dirty. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone.
