Pousada Parque Praia

Great.

The owner was polite, and the location worked for what we needed. But the air conditioning stopped working and came back at a lovely 25 degrees, so we were warmer than if we'd been outside. Breakfast was very, very basic.

We checked out that same day, and they still had the nerve to charge us for a night even though we didn't stay, for several reasons. The photos don't match what the place looks like in person. On January 7, 2024, my family and I stayed in this dump. The shower gave electric shocks, the beds were old, there was mold everywhere, and the showers had no water. The outlets weren't labeled to show whether they were 220 volts, and the rooms had no ventilation. Both men who served us were unbelievably rude. What bothered me most was the owners' hostility toward guests. My rating is zero for this lousy place. Don't be fooled by the photos. The pictures are all lies, and the men who run it are beyond rude.

We had a personal issue and left a day early. When we tried to talk with the owner about canceling and possibly getting a refund, he got in his car and drove away. We tried to reach him on WhatsApp, but he blocked us and we couldn't get in touch again. On top of that, we arrived at 3 p.m. even though check-in was at 2, and the room still hadn't been cleaned. There were cobwebs on the wall and a strong sewer smell. To cope, we had to keep the bathroom door shut and the bedroom door open. Terrible facilities and service.
