The owners were very helpful, and the price felt very reasonable. The place has a peaceful, homey feel, and the pool and nearby space were just right for relaxing after Beto Carrero. It’s about a 15-minute walk to the park, which is handy if you’re going there. Breakfast was balanced and suited us well for the day. We were welcomed warmly and made to feel at ease when we arrived. Our room for eight was a good size, with the furniture arranged well, and all the equipment worked perfectly. I’d only suggest moving the TV so it’s easier to watch while lying down. Booking was excellent too, with quick replies and accurate information. I recommend it!

I wanted to add a few things in response to the owner's reply to our review. The kitchen request was covered by the rules, I understand that, but sometimes those rules need a little flexibility when there are children involved. My baby had a fever and we only asked for a pot to heat up some ready-made soup. We also arrived early because of the trip and asked if we could unload. We were told the room was occupied, which was fine, so the bags stayed in the car. We had plants with us and asked if there was somewhere to leave them so they wouldn't have to stay there too. We've stayed at several other inns at the same price. None were fancy, but this is how we felt about the bedding and the comfort of the beds. With masks going on and off all the time, even we don't always keep track of them perfectly. We're living through this, and our attention isn't on masks every second. I think every guest's experience and review is valid. We weren't aggressive at any point. We're often on the road and have seen many inns change over time. We liked the location and the quiet, and especially the breakfast. The room was large, the air conditioning and shower were fine. We just didn't find the beds comfortable. Thank you.

We used to choose this place whenever we came to Penha. The owners were friendly at first, but lately it's become an unpleasant place, especially for families with children. After going out to dinner, we came back and found nobody at reception. I had a problem with the water in our room and needed another bottle to make a baby bottle. Since the owners live there, I called out to ask, but was treated very badly. She told me to order through iFood because she wasn't going to come open the fridge. I can't recommend it now, particularly if you're with children and something unexpected comes up. You won't get help.

Jéssica looked after us so well and made us feel completely at ease. We had a lovely, cozy room for a couple and a child, and everything at the inn was great. There is a pool too, though it was too cold for us to use it. The street is really quiet, and the location is close to everything: five minutes on foot to the beach and ten to Beto Carreiro. Breakfast was wonderful. We'll definitely come back.
