Pousada Sao Miguel Beach

Such a perfect place to relax, with everything organized, a great reception team, excellent coffee, very clean rooms, and a lovely beach. We’ll definitely be back.

We spent three days here and had an amazing time. My elderly parents stayed in suite 704 and loved both the room and the inn’s facilities. My husband and I were in suite 708, and the cozy room and balcony with a bathtub made every moment worthwhile. It rained while we were there, but we still had a wonderful stay. Breakfast was lovely, and the owners and staff were fantastic and so helpful. It also mattered to me that pets are welcome, and I’m sure my dog loved it too. We’ll be coming back, and I recommend the place.

The owners were a big part of what made the stay feel welcoming. They were kind and helpful, and guests mention personal touches like picking up meals for them. Breakfast was generous, tasty, and made with fresh ingredients. The place is right by Praia de São Miguel, a quieter beach, and has a cared-for outdoor area where kids can play. There’s free parking and pets are welcome, which works well for families. The rooms are compact but clean and well equipped, especially the ones with a tub and sea view. The container-style setup feels modern and sustainable, and the inn is literally right on the sand. It’s a simple, family-style place with a good balance of comfort, hospitality, and price for couples, families, or friends.

We stayed with family in March 2026 for a trip to Beto Carrero, and the location worked out great. The beach is right across the road and the park is very close. The rooms and bathroom were clean, and breakfast was excellent, with everything prepared carefully. We loved the inn and had no complaints. I’d gladly come back when I can.
