The pool was nice and always clean, and Beto Careiro is close enough to walk to. But we stayed about 3 days and ran into several problems. The access road is full of potholes, the room is small, and there’s no drying rack for clothes, so don’t plan on doing laundry. The service didn’t feel very enthusiastic, and the Wi-Fi didn’t work, which would be a problem if you need to connect for work. Breakfast was the same every day, and they didn’t refill food or drinks when they ran out. The location is worst if you’re coming for the beach: it’s unsuitable for swimming, as are most beaches in Penha. The nearest Blue Flag beach is in Piçarras, about 7 km away.
