Pousada Vitória

The hosts were kind and attentive, and the breakfast was complete and really well made. It’s a comfortable little inn that exceeded my expectations, with only a few rooms, all clean and organized. One downside is that the rooms are so close together you can hear a lot from the neighbors.

Beto Carrero is close enough to walk to, so this is a perfect place to stay if you’re visiting the park. We had a wonderful few days and felt at home. Mari was so sweet, welcomed us warmly, and kept checking that we were comfortable. We were treated well from the moment we arrived until we left. Breakfast was delicious and everything was spotless. We’ll definitely be back!

The shower was poor, and there’s nowhere to eat inside the property or a kitchen with utensils and cups. If you need to eat, you have to do it on the floor. The rooms face the street behind a curtain, which makes it hard to air them out. Breakfast was weak and kept repeating the same things. At times some staff seemed in a bad mood, though the owner was the only one who seemed to want the inn to succeed. It wasn’t a good experience, and I won’t return.

The rooms are new and clean, and breakfast was delicious with plenty of choices. Mari and her husband were very attentive. Getting to the park or the nice beaches means calling an Uber, but it’s still excellent value for money.
