Hostel & Pousada Good Vibes

The room I stayed in was spacious, and the beds were comfortable. I liked that the inn had a relaxed, home-like feel, so guests could feel at ease. The pool was great for adults and children, and the price seemed fair for what was offered. It’s a simple, family-friendly place with what you need for comfort, fun, and a budget stay. There’s a shared kitchen with a stove, microwave, fridge, pots, dishes, and other basics. Some rooms have shared bathrooms, while the suites have their own. The inn was quiet on my visit on 12/12/2021, and the one person in charge treated us really well. I did notice there didn’t seem to be anyone responsible for cleaning up, taking out the trash, or drying the rooms, so guests handle that themselves. Bring your own sheets, towels, and hammock. I’m already planning to return. Good value for the money.

The peaceful, quiet location was great. I’ll be back again.

The kitchen is fully equipped, and the host lends guests pots and dishes, so you can buy what you need and make your own breakfast each day. There isn’t breakfast provided. The host is laid-back and lets everyone feel at home, and the house itself is quiet. It’s about 1 km from the beach, on a calm street. There’s a TV room with cable, free Wi-Fi, rooms with shared bathrooms as well as suites, a shared fridge, a barbecue, a pizza oven, and a beautiful, clean pool. It’s a good place to stay.

We really enjoyed our stay and are planning to return in January 2024. We went to the Good Vibes in Jan 2023, almost a year ago. I used to have some prejudice about hostels, but this one is a different kind of place, with individual rooms, a nice pool, shops nearby, and really great service. People need to understand it’s a spot to relax with your family and enjoy the place and the beach. Some of the comments I read here seemed to expect luxury. If that’s what you want, go pay a lot more somewhere else.
