The route in is seriously bumpy, and once there, we found all the pools dirty and the sauna out of order. At the dining room, flies and sometimes ants were near the food. We stayed in the “presidential suite,” which was a good room apart from the sewer smell and a bathtub with no hot water. Service was poor too: they didn't change the sheets or towels until we asked, and even after that it wasn't consistent.

The resort name sets the wrong expectation, since this hotel doesn't really feel like a resort. The rooms are new and well equipped, and there are huge pools and a spacious leisure area, but there aren't enough employees for a place this large. Breakfast was really poor, with hard, stale bread and little variety. The cleaning women were especially friendly, as was one man at reception. Beyond them, the staff seemed unhappy at work and didn't seem interested in making guests feel welcome.

There's direct contact with nature here, and the setting feels special. It's a great place if you're after peace, quiet, and safety, whether for a weekend with family, friends, or work colleagues.

Part of the way there is on an unpaved road, but it's worth it once you arrive. The place is cozy and peaceful, with a really comfortable room. Breakfast had lots of options, and the lunch menu was varied, excellent, and tasty.

My first time at Todde's, and I liked it. I was welcomed well. One thing felt unnecessary, though: a staff member spoke arrogantly to a coworker in front of the guests, even though he was serving us very well. I thought that was unethical.
