Just okay.

The front desk service was good, and they had a few drinks and snacks for sale at fairly average prices. The electric shower worked well, too. There’s indoor parking, but only room for a few cars, and street parking is an option on a pretty quiet road. Still, the daily rate felt far too high for what the place offers. The minibar didn’t work, and the ceiling fan was filthy and barely helped with the heat. Other guests talked loudly outside the room until almost 1 a.m. The doors made a lot of noise both opening and closing, and the bathroom layout was awkward, with a cabinet almost on top of the sink.

Jô was wonderful at the front desk. The room, though, had a broken toilet flush that made a huge racket, and the air conditioner leaked badly. The price also felt unfair for that room. I only stayed because I was tired and had booked at the last minute without looking around first. The website listed R$160, the desk said R$140, and on Saturday night the price went up to R$200. Since I’d called ahead, they charged me the R$180 they’d quoted.

Everything was really clean and tidy, and the staff were so polite. The location was great, and breakfast tasted lovely. I’ll definitely come back.
