I didn't want to leave after those few special days with friends and our lovely hosts, Rita and Miguel 😍. They welcomed us so warmly and made us feel part of something truly unique. I'll always remember it, and I'm already looking forward to coming back again and again. They took care of everything we could have wished for, and then some. There was loads of fun, great food and entertainment, karaoke, samba lessons, plenty of cachaça 🥃🥃 and 🍮🍮 included 😂💃💃. Muito obrigada!

The room was so inviting and restful, with a king size bed, and we were treated to fresh local food. We felt like family, not guests. This very special B&B sits in a magical, beautiful, peaceful setting, like a Garden of Eden. The owners quickly felt like close friends or beloved family. Their warmth, openness, and genuine care for our comfort were exceptional. We were lucky to spend several nights here. It's a memorable place for anyone who appreciates Brazilian hospitality and scenery and wants to get away from the madness of city life. Bravo!

The group dinner with the other visitors was a real highlight, and this place went beyond what we expected. Miguel and Rita made us feel at home from the moment they welcomed us on arrival and throughout the stay. It felt like being with family or old friends, and we had an absolutely amazing time. My only regret is that we didn't stay long enough to enjoy all the amenities available to guests. Thank you for a great time! Petr+André

Our stay at Casa do Fachoalto was just what I wanted for my vacation. I could unwind, use the hot tub, swim in the river, and look up at a sky full of stars at night. The owners were incredibly friendly and welcoming, and the room and bathroom were comfortable and well kept. This bed & breakfast and wedding and events venue is about 1 hour and 30 minutes by car from Rio de Janeiro, on the outskirts of Petrópolis. The forested setting is beautiful, with the sound of clear creeks flowing through the property. It makes a lovely escape into nature, with a swimming pond and waterfall nearby, as well as hikes in the mountains of Petrópolis. The accommodation felt upscale, and breakfast was generous, with different breads, jams, juices, yogurt, and fruit. Historic Petrópolis is a 30-minute drive away, with restaurants, museums, and a movie theater. I would definitely return and have already recommended it to friends visiting Rio de Janeiro, Brazil!
