Casa no Céu

The view was wonderful, the rooms were beautifully decorated, and the owners were calm, friendly, and attentive. Breakfast was plentiful, and there was homemade pizza at night. There was a classic-style fireplace with logs around it to sit on, plus another fireplace in my room. What a lovely discovery, such a cozy and peaceful place. I’ll definitely come back and highly recommend it. The owners said they’re making changes to give the place more of a home-like feel.

Alexandre and Nelson made the stay warm, comfortable, and memorable. Everything at breakfast is made fresh to order, and they were wonderful with us. My husband and I chose the inn for a work trip and brought my mother along since her birthday fell that weekend. They made the day feel very special, and it turned out to be the best choice. We stayed in Suíte do Vale, which was very comfortable, with immaculate, lovely-smelling bed and bath linens, a beautiful view, and so much peace. My mother stayed in suíte Orvalho, which was very comfortable too. The decor is charming, and the nature and quiet around the inn add to it. It’s about 20-25 minutes from the Centro Histórico de Petrópolis, an excellent option if you take the Serra. I’d like to come back with more time to enjoy the place and try dinner, which sounds delicious. I’d been struck by all the positive comments while researching the inn, and I can say it really was incredible.

We had an excellent stay. The owners’ attention and care with the details really stood out. The property sits right in nature, and from the rooms it feels like looking at a framed picture of the beautiful scenery. The intimate decor is thoughtfully put together, with each piece chosen to work well with the others. Breakfast was excellent too, fresh and high quality, with a few tasty treats made by the owners. We’ll definitely return.

Nelson made us breakfast with so much care, and in the morning we saw Alexandre picking flowers to decorate a wonderful homemade cake. The place is full of thoughtful details, and both of them made us feel completely welcome. We booked one night this weekend at this charming, cozy inn, and the chilly weather suited it perfectly. Everything was clean and well organized. Such a lovely stay, we’ll definitely be back!
