The rooms are a good size and laid out well, and the location is handy, close to the main street without being noisy. Service could use some work: there weren’t many staff available, there was no price list for minibar or room service, and the room had no safe for belongings.

Being right by the cathedral and close to Liberdade square makes the location a strong point. Koeler Avenue is lovely to walk along and take in the city. The service, valet parking, amenities, and other things were below average, though the prices are fair, so there isn’t much to complain about.

I couldn’t swim because the pool had no water, for no apparent reason. The rooms were decent, though a bit overpriced, which comes with being so close to everything. The location itself is very good, near many of the city’s historical places.

The place is a beautiful old house with a nice garden, but the rooms seemed small and the pool was empty. I was planning to stay, but they didn’t have any ground-floor rooms available.
