Hotel Escola Bela Vista

The staff were especially friendly and helpful with guests who don't speak Portuguese. My rooms were spacious and had decent air conditioning. I stayed twice, in two different rooms: one was newer and updated, while the older suite had an updated bathroom. The Bela Vista is a nice place, though a little dated. It's quiet and away from city noise, but getting to restaurants or a grocery store in downtown Volta Redonda means a fairly long walk. I'd stay here again.

For what it costs, everything is good. I wholeheartedly recommend it.

Everyone was very kind and helpful, from housekeeping to the restaurant staff. The restaurant food was high quality, and the recently renovated rooms are also up to a high standard. The hotel's location on the outskirts of Volta Redonda is peaceful and works well for a stay in the city. One small complaint: despite the renovation, the toilets near the restaurant visibly look 80 years old.

I spent two weeks here during a visit to Volta Redonda and had a wonderful stay. The restaurant staff were lovely, and at dinner they even tried to teach me some Portuguese, like "Obrigado." Breakfast was an amazing buffet, with nothing I felt was missing. I always ate outside, though there was seating both indoors and out. The hotel also has a pool that was great on hot days and never crowded when I went for a swim, plus a gym with weights and machines. My room felt modern, clean, welcoming, comfortable, and practical. The reception and restaurant teams were super friendly and helpful. The hotel sits on a hill, so nights were wonderfully quiet, with no street noise. I also really liked its distinctive style, which you can see in the photos. I'd absolutely recommend it for business or pleasure in Volta Redonda, and hope to return on my next visit.
