Vilage Bed & Breakfast

I can’t really review the accommodations because we didn’t get to stay. On 07/12/2023, my husband and I, along with a couple of friends we had recommended the inn to, were made to leave less than an hour after checking in. They were staying in another room. We were in town for an event, and since we planned to drink, we looked for a place to stay, booked this inn 15 days ahead, and paid for the night. We’re a mature couple, but we’re still affectionate and enjoy being intimate. To our surprise and embarrassment, the owner knocked and demanded that we leave immediately because he wasn’t “prepared.” I still don’t understand what he meant, since he hadn’t been “invited.” There wasn’t even a list of rules in the room saying sex was prohibited. They should put one up so no one else has to go through that embarrassment. We drove back down the mountain to Rio after drinking, putting our lives at risk, and returned feeling ashamed and humiliated. I can’t rate the physical accommodations, but for courtesy, kindness, and empathy, the score can only be 0 (ZERO). “The Ministry of Health warns: having sex at the inn is bad for the health of the owner who isn’t prepared.”

The welcome was even better than I expected. The house is spotless, quiet, and well organized, and the room was airy with air conditioning, a comfortable bed, a TV with Netflix, and a wonderful shower. The location is great too. The couple who host guests really make the place special. They’re friendly, polite, and attentive, and great to talk with. Thanks so much for making us feel welcome. I’ll always recommend you in Volta Redonda.

This welcoming inn is worth a visit. The room and bed were good, the linens were well cared for, the internet worked well, and breakfast was good. Sr Odilon treated me very well. Whenever I return to Volta Redonda, I’ll choose his inn again.

After a long trip, I stayed in several places, including some more expensive ones, but this was by far the best. It’s a spectacular place, very clean and fresh-smelling. Odlon was a very attentive, polite, and kind host. I recommend it to anyone looking for a quiet, comfortable, and safe night. Thank you, senhor odlon.
