The staff were friendly, helpful, and accommodating, and breakfast was filling and really good. The rooms were clean and nice, with a comfortable bed, a good-sized bathroom, a mini fridge, and a hammock right outside. The property is gorgeous, well kept, and clean, with beautiful landscaping. The pool is amazing, deeper and larger than most, and there are two bars and a BBQ for cooking. It's usually very quiet even though it's off a main road. Keep the windows shut at night or insects might get into your room. I'd come back next time I visit!

Luiz gave us a warm, attentive welcome, and breakfast was really good, with different breads and cakes, fruit, and freshly brewed coffee! The inn is beautiful, clean, and very well maintained, with a colonial feel and intricately worked solid wood furniture. ♥️♥️

I was starving when I came across this spot along the Dão cycle path, and it was just the stop I needed. There was lots of food to choose from, and everyone was so, so welcoming, even the macaws. I came back on purpose the next day for lunch, though it was nearly snack time by then, and they were still completely happy to feed a hungry traveler. A huge thank you.
