The staff were very helpful, and breakfast was good. It's a beautiful rustic lodge, with different rooms and cabins and a lovely view from the top of the hill.

It felt like a home away from home. The staff were welcoming, kind, and very professional. From the room there were beautiful views, and the cozy fireplace and great pool made the stay even nicer. This excellent pousada is only steps from Petropolis historic center, while still feeling private and surrounded by greenery.

Such a cute little inn, with an incredible view. The bed had a memory foam mattress, the pillows were soft and squishy, and the staff were so, so nice. Breakfast had an impressive spread. I absolutely loved my stay!

The view is breathtaking, mamma mia! We loved the breakfast and the staff, and the rooms were nice and cozy. The area is amazing, easy to find, and has great spots around it. I'd highly recommend the place for its value for money.

The beds here are the best I've slept in at any hotel or inn, and I actually sleep better here than at home. The rooms are quiet, and the whole place feels cozy. The inn, or "pousada" as we say in Portuguese, is Pousada Monte Imperial, a delightful spot near the city center and the main attractions in Petrópolis. The employees are kind and helpful, and they speak English, which isn't as common in Brazil as people might think. Breakfast is simply the best in Petrópolis. You can see it in the photos, including some I added myself.
