We loved our stay and would come back. We called when we arrived in Petropolis, and they offered us a room. By the time we got there, they'd already put a baby crib in it. The staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating, the facilities and spaces were very well cared for, and breakfast was great. There's also an external massage service available. The tropical surroundings, with all the plants, are beautiful. Unfortunately the weather wasn't good enough for us to use the pool or hike the trail.

Breakfast was tasty, and the service there was nice. The beds were good, the place was well kept, and I liked the decor. The showers had good pressure and plenty of hot water. The street traffic got pretty loud at night, though, and the repeated reminders that checkout was at noon became really annoying.

The rooms were peaceful and comfortable, with big bathrooms, lovely colonial details, and great beds. Everyone was kind, and the owner even welcomed us in person. Pousada Vila Brasil is a beautiful, relaxing place, and I’m already looking forward to coming back.

We liked being close enough to the tourist attractions without staying amid the downtown bustle. Vila Brasil has lovely decor and a lot of charm, with friendly staff. Our room was spacious and spotless, and the bathroom was great. It seems especially suited to couples.
