IBIS, thanks for the terrible stay. The air-conditioning would turn on, but seemed to just push air around without cooling it. I woke up the next day unable to breathe. If you want a sleepless night tossing around in bed and to wake up sick, this is the place. Breakfast isn't included, and even a hot tea for my scratchy throat wasn't offered. Nothing is included except a horrible night without sleep and some kind of sickness by morning. I'll make sure I never go near this place again. 🥵🤮🤒😷🤧🥴😵💫😵

The night receptionist jean was always polite and helpful. When the air-conditioning had a problem, he fixed it right away himself, and he listened carefully and tried to sort things out promptly. The kitchen staff, maria and Suele, were also consistently kind, attentive, and helpful. Their service made a real difference. At check-in, though, the new guy who served me was quite rude. I didn't go to the person in charge of the hotel about it. Breakfast was good, but some items were very cold. I’ll come back, mainly because of jean and the kitchen team. Even with a few problems, I think the place can improve further.

It took nearly eight hours and a long argument before they finally moved me to a room where the air-conditioning worked. At first they refused my request to change rooms. After checking in and seeing the room, I had reported that the AC wasn't working. The reception said they'd reset the condenser, which got it going for a while, but the same problem came back about 40 minutes later. My wife explained that our son has Autism Spectrum Disorder (TEA) and was already very agitated from the heat in the room. The Hotel Íbis still showed no concern. My stay was awful. I’ll seek a refund and don't recommend staying here.
