Vale Hostel

The breakfast is magnificent, especially Michele’s homemade breads and sweets. Michele and Pedro are excellent hosts who know how to provide what pilgrims, walkers, cyclists on the Rota da Luz, and other guests need. The place is clean and organized, with a great atmosphere. I recommend it and will be back!

The owners, Pedro and Michelle, are warm and attentive, and happy to talk about the region’s tourist attractions. We enjoyed the barbecue and pool area for a get-together, both thoughtfully planned. The whole hostel has tasteful decor, and the breakfast was incredible, with fresh juices, cakes, and good-quality breads. It’s a simple, cozy place with a family feel and appealing prices.

This place really is different. It has such a welcoming, comfortable feel, and the owner greets you at the entrance, shows you the rooms, bathroom, and leisure area, then you can enjoy coffee and homemade cake and have a relaxed chat. I recommend it.

Vale hostel is a great base for visiting Pindamonhangaba, Campos do Jordão, and some waterfalls. The prices are very affordable, the accommodation is excellent, and Michelle and Pedro are wonderful, lively hosts. Everything is clean and well cared for, and the space is pleasant and cozy. Being close to downtown Pindamonhangaba makes getting out to explore easier. I highly recommend it and would come back to Vale every year.
