The building itself is nice and clean, and the doormen were attentive. But Suzane at the desk was awful. I had booked and paid in advance through AIRBNB, then arrived to find other guests in my room. The doorman called her, and she hung up once she realized the room had been rented twice. It seemed to me that she had rented it outside the app. I also got the impression the owner didn't even know about the booking.

We picked this place through Airbnb because it accepts pets, and we were traveling with our two small dogs from Porto Alegre to Rio de Janeiro. Check-in was quick when we arrived at night, and there was a gated parking area monitored by cameras. The room had a double bed and a single bed, tables, dishes, cutlery, a mini fridge, and a stove. The shower used gas heating. It was a good place for an overnight stop, with enough to get through a long trip.

I went there after seeing it listed on Google as a hotel, only to find out it stopped being a hotel three years ago. Now places are rented directly through the Airbnb website or app. My rating is about the outdated Google listing, not the property itself.

Everything you need is nearby, and the location is great. The doormen were friendly and very attentive. I rented a flat through Airbnb for five days and really enjoyed it.

The service itself was excellent, but dealing with the Airbnb host, Suzana, was the worst experience I've had. She kept putting me off and didn't solve my problem. I wouldn't recommend booking this place through Airbnb.
