Enzo Park Hotel

The staff were really kind and attentive, doing their best to make up for our disappointment while juggling all the different jobs they had to handle. The service team was excellent, but the park's facilities need work. What's going on with the management? I have a lot of fond memories of Enzo Park from earlier visits, so coming back to see its current condition was disappointing. You can still tell it's a pretty place with nice landscaping, but the neglect makes it feel almost haunted. The rooms are comfortable enough to stay overnight, and the beds are comfortable too. The furniture is in good shape, but the bathrooms are spacious and look like they haven't been cleaned in years, with grimy tiles and walls. There's no entertainment or decent facilities beyond what the Instagram advertising suggests. The restaurant only serves breakfast, which is quite basic. The pools need renovation, cleaning and upkeep, and many attractions are closed. Some of the cleaner pools seem to be dengue breeding grounds, while others have only a couple of palms' worth of water. There aren't any live fish left in the lakes, and the smell is awful, like the Tietê River. Even the Iara, the mother-of-water sculpture, looks like it's crying for help.

The staff were friendly, kind and very polite, which is why I gave it two stars. I found the place beautiful, but it feels abandoned and needs a full renovation urgently. Most areas are closed, the rooms need maintenance, and the bathrooms need a much better clean. The breakfast is very simple. The fish pond by the Enzo entrance has dirty water, and the fish are too large for the space. The pools open for guests were very dirty, and termites have infested the park headquarters where the administrative offices are. I hope the business can recover so I can change my rating.

The park is neglected and needs renovation. Our stay was awful: we arrived around 11 p.m., and there was no reception service, so the doorman checked us in. I had booked a room with a double bed and a single for my daughter, but the single bed had no bedspread or pillow. The air conditioner remote didn't work, so we were hot all night. The shower was broken, and so was the toilet seat.

The place is really beautiful, and they did a great job setting up the park, but it needs more care and maintenance, and the service could be better. Our room wasn't cleaned; I had to ask reception after two days. Breakfast was okay.
