Hospedaria Pousada Casa - Hostel

The inn is simple, but has such a lovely atmosphere. Mr. Álvaro, Dona Maria, and Angelica made us feel so welcome. It was a wonderful experience!

The inn is lovely, comfortable, and well kept, with a real charm to it. They made me feel right at home. Breakfast had a huge range of choices, and waking up to saxophone music in the morning was amazing. I can't wait to come back.

We lucked out with a full moon, which made the view from the old house's veranda even more special. The place is simple but comfortable, and the location is great. You can walk to Largo, where there are places to eat. Piranhas is well worth a visit for its historic character, and you can also swim in the waters of the mighty Velho Chico as it runs through the city. History, art, culture, ecology... there's a lot to take in.

The owners were warm and welcoming, helped me plan my outings, and I enjoyed talking with them. I felt at home. The varied breakfast and the lovely soft-smelling bed were nice touches too. The inn is excellent, right in the historic center, in an old house that still has its original architecture, furniture, and decor. Piranhas is a wonderful city as well. I recommend both.
