Getting to the nearby waterfalls is easier with the hostel's transport service, especially since some are tucked away and a long way out. The hostel itself was clean and cozy, in a handy location, and the staff were lovely and ready to help. I really enjoyed spending my holidays there.

The crowd here was friendly and mature, with no loud parties or obnoxious drunks. The bed price seems to keep away a lot of the people who can make a hostel stay miserable. Reubens has made a place where you can relax and share stories, or just do your own thing. Rooms are quiet, modern, and clean. Ask for one nearer the bathroom if you want a stronger Internet signal. The bathrooms are also modern and clean, with separate hot and cold taps in the American style, solar-heated water, and a hot shower with good pressure. There are lockers, phone chargers, a computer, and a TV with a few cable channels in the shared area. Walking back toward the city center takes you by some good, fairly priced restaurants, a nice change from the expensive, dirty stretch of lookalike bars. The higher route passes historic old buildings and eventually an art fair. Go the lower way and you may come across Guilherme at Do Lado de Lá, a cute curiosity shop, or one of several small antique dealers with very reasonable prices. This is where you want to stay.

The hosts are kind and very welcoming, and the place is kept clean and well maintained. It has a wonderful setup, better than plenty of hotels. For me, this is definitely the best place to stay in Pirinopolis. I highly recommend it.
