Pousada Casebre

The hosts gave excellent service. Unfortunately, although the place is simple and comfortable, it was infested with pigeons, and the pool was full of the mess they left.

A really good pousada, with clean rooms and a good mattress. Breakfast was delicious and had lots of variety, and the hosts were very polite and helpful.

The pool was really nice, and the rooms were well looked after. The host was attentive and happy to help guests. I loved the place and hope to come back.

The bathroom was disgusting, with a urine smell in the shower and mucus on the wall. The bed was just as bad: one side and the pillow smelled strongly of men's perfume, and I realized the sheets hadn't been changed. I asked the owner to come check and replace them, but he never replied. I tried to wait while taking a shower, then canceled through the app and left that night to find somewhere else. There was no way I could sleep in that used, stinky bed. Communication was awful from the start. The listing mixed photos from other properties and didn't make it clear whether bedding was provided. When we arrived, the room was different, which I was willing to accept until the problems began. It's also far from the center if you're on foot, another thing the listing got wrong. I absolutely don't recommend it.
