Pousada Flores do Carmo

The atmosphere is pleasant, the service was impeccable, and the location is very good. For a pousada, the quality and value of the service are above average, even compared with large hotel chains. We’ll certainly return to Piri and stay with them again.

We first found this pousada in 2022, when my wife and I were going through the very difficult loss of a pregnancy and needed somewhere peaceful. That’s exactly what we found. From our first visit, we felt at home and especially welcome. It was new and extremely well organized, and its wonderful signature scent even inspired me to look for the same fragrance for home. We loved the family atmosphere, excellent breakfast, tasty cheese pizza at a fair price, pleasant background music, and the pool, which was always warm and beautiful. It became our refuge in Pirenópolis, and we returned several times. The last two stays, though, felt like some of that original charm had faded. The bathroom was clean but needed repairs, and the shower didn’t work properly. They weren’t able to fix it for good during our stay. The distinctive scent wasn’t as noticeable anymore either. One concern we’ve had from the beginning is that cars are parked on the street, even though there is security. Even with those things to improve, it remains a very good option, like any place with strengths and weaknesses. The memories we made there are priceless, and on balance we still had a very positive experience. If you’re unsure, there’s a very high chance you’ll make a good choice. I still strongly recommend it to anyone looking for charm, good food, and a relaxing atmosphere.

Such a calm, quiet, clean place, with wonderful service. If you want somewhere peaceful with gentle background music and a pool that’s always warm, this is the spot. It was my first stay, and I’m already thinking about coming back.

I loved my two days here. It was quiet, a great setting for a proper rest, and the service was top quality. I’ll be back!
