Pousada Vila Lua Bela

The pousada is close to the beach and offers great value. Breakfast was excellent, and the employees were very attentive. Juju, the friendly little caramel-colored dog, was especially gentle and affectionate.

I've loved this place since my first stay. On my recent visit, though, I missed the animals. The bunnies and cats, along with the chicks, brought a peaceful feeling to the place and made the pousada experience special. I hope they bring them back.

The rooms are well cared for, with clean, fresh-smelling towels and linens. The place feels peaceful and welcoming, and the staff were attentive and friendly both when I arrived and when I left. It's a charming spot, and I hope to return soon.

The rooms were clean, and the pousada's staff weren't bad, but the lack of easy access meant we couldn't get out to explore the area or even go to the beach. There's nowhere nearby: no bar, market, restaurant, or anything else within walking distance. The sandy roads are hard to navigate, even by car. The beaches are difficult to reach too, with a horrible climb down and back up a rocky hill. My mother was misled by CVC and the pousada. CVC sold the package for two elderly people, and the agent knew their ages. The pousada's information, together with CVC's, wasn't transparent about access or the lack of facilities nearby. The situation and location were awful.
