When I got married 48 years ago, things were really hard, and all we could afford was this hotel. Now I passed by and looked through the window from the sidewalk. It seems like nothing has changed. The shower is cheap, with the hose bent where it connects to the showerhead, and it was black with dirt. It’s lamentable. That’s how things are.

The staff were kind and attentive, with warm, personal service from everyone. The hotel is old and simple, in line with its prices, but the location is wonderful and you can get around on foot. There’s parking too. Breakfast is simple, with cakes, little cookies, cheese bread, and everything is made at the hotel.
