Maria at reception deserves a special mention. She has such genuine joy at work, and I think everyone should take a cue from her. I arrived exhausted, and João made check-in quick and friendly. He also sorted out the TV remote in no time, which really helped. The room was comfortable. There was a slight smell in the bathroom, not unbearable, but it should be looked at. Breakfast was simple, very clean and organized, and items were regularly replenished. The elevator jolts a bit and really needs to be checked. I enjoyed my stay and will come back, especially for Maria’s service.

The room was very comfortable, and the service was excellent. At check-out, Maria Eliza was so polite and sweet to my wife and me. Service like that feels rare these days. The hotel is cozy and well located, with easy access around the area, plus other hotels and a convenience store nearby. I had a good experience from check-in to check-out. The TV was a letdown: the connection was poor, almost no channels worked, and I couldn’t get Netflix. I’m not sure if the TV wasn’t compatible, but even the basic channels were unavailable. The night shift employee, who I think was called João, helped me right away. Breakfast didn’t have many options, but everything was fresh and replenished properly. The elevator jolts, which is a little unsettling.

Maria at reception made me feel welcome and treated me so well. Thank you for all your help, attention, and kindness. The reception is a hotel’s first impression, and she does that job wonderfully. The hotel is cozy, and the room was comfortable. It’s an old hotel, so I wasn’t expecting luxury, and honestly, the service is the real luxury here. The TV doesn’t work very well, and there’s quite a bit of noise in the room, so those things could be improved. The location is good, and I enjoyed my stay overall.

The staff were polite, and the place was clean. The location is excellent, close to the Thermas and the well-kept central square. The pool is covered and small, but cozy. As for breakfast, it was basic, with coffee, milk, juice, yogurt, and a few kinds of bread. Nothing especially Minas Gerais about it, but there was enough. The cheese bread tasted like the frozen kind from a supermarket. The rooms I saw didn’t match the advertised photos. My first room was bad in every way, and they kindly moved me to a better one, though it still wasn’t ideal. There’s no way to contact reception from the room, and the decor looks like the 1980s. There’s no air conditioning, which I already knew, and there is a mini fridge. A convenience store is nearby, and the hotel sells basic drinks, so stock up beforehand if you want something like water. The elevator isn’t recommended for people with heart problems. Parking costs extra, which I knew, but spaces are limited, so confirm before you go. If you need to go out in the middle of the night, wake the guard, who will be sleeping near the pool, or come back after 7:00, because the doors will be locked. Check-in and check-out were unreliable and made me uneasy. It took a while to get in, and although I had booked online, I had to do everything manually, including payment, and cancel through the app. Still, I didn’t have any problems.

The reception looks lovely and well presented, and Maria Elisa’s service made the stay so much nicer. She’s a sweetheart and treated me extremely well. The hotel itself was really nice, with a good location and everything close by. I’d consider staying there again next time. I did think the parking was very expensive and a bit unfair.
