The staff made this a really friendly place. They went out of their way to make the stay pleasant, and the room, cafeteria, and food areas were sparkling clean. The accommodations are simple, though, and the bed was very firm. If you prefer a softer mattress, this one may not suit you. The internet was fast enough for me to send several videos on Instagram without any trouble. I was there with my Brazilian in-laws to celebrate their anniversary. The food was excellent overall: my mother-in-law had the steak, which was exceptional, while my stroganoff was a little off, seeming to use red sauce instead of cream sauce. A typical dish cost about 8 to $12, and wine was $15-$20 a bottle, mostly from Chile or Argentina. Breakfast was included, with different cuts of meat, juice, and fruit. Simple, but clean and worth having. The hotel is in a lovely part of the city for a long walk. I’d give the location a B, price a B+, and food a B+. The bed gets a C-, but cleanliness was A+++ and staff friendliness A++++. I’d recommend it for those last two reasons.
