Pousada Do Nivinho

I was really disappointed. The photos on Booking were misleading, and the place felt neglected. My room was very dirty and dusty, with dirty sheets and blankets. There were no towels or soap when we arrived, and the Wi-Fi didn’t work in my room. At breakfast, nobody seemed to be in charge of keeping the tables clean and organized.

I paid 200 reais, and it wasn’t worth the price. The reception was disorganized and hygiene was poor. My room had mold all over the ceiling, a very strong sewage smell in the bathroom, and a bed so hard it felt like sleeping on the floor. There were cobwebs everywhere. On the way to the room, there was a pile of rubble, plus old sofas and furniture that were torn, stained, and dirty. Breakfast the next day was another bad experience. Everything felt neglected: a pale cake on a round plate under a dirty square lid that crushed it, overripe bananas, and dirty tables. The woman was lying on the reception sofa, and trash around the water dispenser was overflowing. There’s plenty more I could say, but that’s enough.

Parking and breakfast are included, and the price is fair. Vinícius gave very good service and answered all my questions about the stay. I recommend it to anyone who needs a place to sleep in Ponta Grossa.

The reception staff are really attentive. Breakfast is included and quite tasty, and there’s plenty of parking and Wi-Fi. They have both suite rooms and simpler rooms to suit different budgets. You can book an excellent room if you’re more particular, though it costs more, haha. If your budget is lower, they offer several options. It’s a safe place and well worth it.
