Continental Porto Alegre

There weren't enough towels when I checked in at night, and the phone didn't work when I tried calling reception. After more than 20 years of staying in hotels around the world, I've never seen one let guests check in while running short of towels. With that level of service and facilities, how can they call it a business hotel?

The hotel was very clean and well maintained, and the breakfast was delicious with plenty of choice. The staff were lovely. On arrival, I was introduced to everyone who speaks English, so I knew who I could talk to in my own language if I had a problem. Things worked well, and when an issue came up, it was dealt with quickly and effectively. I'd stay here again. Thank you.

The parking service was the one good part, and the employees there were very helpful. The neighborhood isn't great, and the hotel itself gave me a strange feeling. The low price makes sense, but don't count on the breakfast. I definitely won't come back.

There's plenty to choose from at breakfast, and the food is prepared really nicely. The hotel is also close to restaurants, clothing stores, and Mercado Público, where you can get fresh food and walk around. I've stayed before, and I can see things improving. The rooms are comfortable and very nice, and the receptionists are polite and helpful.
