Hotel Moov Porto Alegre

The hotel is new and sits in a historic spot where there used to be a famous cinema and theater. Saving the facade was a nice gesture. The view looks too industrial, and it reminds me of an Ibis hotel, very similar. Environmental standards!

The rooms were clean and the bed was comfortable, but the rest was disappointing. At check-in, the receptionist only asked what name the booking was under, without a greeting or welcome. They'd said cots were available, then told us on arrival that they were all in use. Luckily, my wife had brought a spare. The internet kept dropping, so Netflix constantly stopped. It was really frustrating. Nobody helped with bags, and when we asked for extra pillows, we didn't get help. We also asked for a couple of glasses and some ice, but were told to use the small plastic bathroom cups and that there was no ice. Breakfast was very average. It felt like an extremely budget hotel with minimal service and facilities, and like they were trying to save money everywhere. We won't stay again. It wasn't worth the money.

The room was brand new and clean, the bed was perfect, and the bathroom was just right. Breakfast had a range of food options too. I was delighted with everything and would give the hotel 10 stars compared with what other hotels offer at this price.

The hotel was very clean and in a really good location. Great stay, highly recommend it.
