The hotel, room, and amenities were great. We happened to be there during Porto Alegre's historic flooding, which wasn't the hotel's fault, so water had to be rationed. It was available only twice a day, for 30-minute periods, and there was no hot water during those windows. Unless you enjoy an ice-cold shower, bathing was a nightmare.
I was here on a business trip. The breakfast was very delicious, and the staff were kind, but the rooms had some issues. With the door shut, there was still a gap big enough to see into the hallway. I also noticed cobwebs above the bathroom mirror and what looked like mold growing near the ceiling. The hotel was okay for my needs, neither amazing nor terrible.
The room is spacious and comfortable, and the hotel's restaurant is very good. They also serve soup on some days. Breakfast is good but has few choices, and there wasn't any skim milk. Make sure you double-check when booking that breakfast is included.
The bed was so comfortable, and breakfast was good. It's a beautiful hotel with excellent customer service, though a little pricey.
The refurbished rooms are nice, and it's a quiet place that works well for business or family trips. The staff are kind, the service is nice, and breakfast is great. I really recommend staying there.
