I left feeling well looked after, and I’d definitely come back. Pousada Martanha is simple, quiet, and well cared for, with a rare sense of peace these days. Everything was clean and organized, and the place has a welcoming feel. There was no breakfast, but I got real rest at night. Sometimes that’s all you need.

They need to improve their hospitality. There were no face towels, the shower gave an electric shock, and for what they offer, the price feels high. Nobody offered to help with the bags, and we weren't allowed to use the pool because it was settling.

I stayed for 3 days and saw some critical comments, so here's my take. This is a Pousada, not a hotel. What they promise is delivered according to the option you pick when booking. The reception was excellent, breakfast was delicious, and the place was clean and well organized. It's in a good location and offers great value. I recommend it!
