The setting is lovely and the food was great, but getting around was a hassle. There were no maps, and the signs were so poor that we sometimes had to go up and down stairs to figure out where our room was. The rustic paths and stairs were dim at night, and a couple of people in our group tripped and fell. Internet and cell service were unreliable, and part of the road in is dirt. It's very secluded, so walking into town isn't easy. Good if you want to unplug and sit with a book, but not a great fit if you want to get around and explore.

The native trails were lovely for walking and taking in the Atlantic Forest, and the ocean view at breakfast made it a really pleasant surprise. We had a wonderful time at Refúgio do Estaleiro. It feels tucked into nature, with the peace and privacy we wanted and a breathtaking sea view. The chalets and suites were roomy, comfortable, and charming. There are infinity pools, including a heated one, plus jacuzzis with great views. Staff were attentive, and the service was excellent. Breakfast was delicious too. A relaxing, high quality place for couples or families. We'll definitely come back.

The suite's hydromassage tub overlooking the sea was a dream, and sunset from here is something special. We came to rest and found a little paradise. The pools are beautiful, with quiet corners to relax around the resort, and everything was clean and well organized. The whole setup is fantastic, and the team was incredibly kind. We'll be back for sure.

Room service worked perfectly, and the staff were attentive, polite, and available throughout our stay. The suites are comfortable and well cared for, with a breathtaking sea view. The pools are great for unwinding, and the whole place feels peaceful and comfortable. Breakfast was excellent, with lots of variety and everything tasted so good. It's a lovely spot for resting and enjoying a special few days. I'll definitely return!
