Trip Adventure Hostel

The location is a strong point, close to everything and to the beach, and the kitchen was okay. Still, the place has a lot of room to improve. The listing photos didn't match what we found during our stay, or at least not the area where we were. Air conditioning was shared between two rooms with different guests, and we couldn't keep the remote with us; we had to ask for it. The shared bathroom facilities were limited: shower stalls had curtains for doors and no place to hang clothes or towels. There was only one drain, so water from one stall ran into the next before reaching it. There was also just one sink for washing up, inside the bathroom, and an extra towel cost 10 reais. On the first floor of one section, the wooden floor carried every footstep. Other guests sometimes stomped on purpose, so it was hard to get some quiet, even at night. The pool had a dirty bottom, and the nearby leisure area felt a bit run-down.

The only real plus was being close to the beach. We stayed three nights and paid over R$ 1,200 for a couple because it was New Year's, but the facilities didn't feel worth that price. The bathrooms were dirty, despite the notice saying they were cleaned three times a day, which didn't happen. The women's bathroom felt unsafe, with the door always open. Its shower had a dirty curtain and nowhere for towels or clothes, and the toilet stall was tiny. The room's air conditioner was poorly installed, and the remote wasn't kept with the guest. Our sheets were dirty, the mattress was thin, and the wooden floor was noisy. There were hardly any kitchen items: around 20 people had just one glass available. The pool was dirty, with broken flooring and a strong smell of leachate. There was also a lot of noise from neighboring rooms. I don't recommend it.

There was nobody at reception to handle check-in, but I was still welcomed kindly. Pets are allowed, and the shared bathroom was clean.

Such a lovely place, I really recommend it. Good price and wonderful service.
