Porto sits in Portugal's northwest Costa Verde region, where the Douro River reaches the Atlantic. The city offers plenty of culture and good food, along with golden beaches, from popular surf spots to tucked-away coves. With around 300 sunny days a year and a beautiful coastline on Europe's western edge, Portugal has some remarkable beaches. Porto's shining stretches are worth seeing on a European holiday.

I was really embarrassed at this hotel today. I work for a licensed transfer company and had come to pick up tourists staying there. When I asked to use the bathroom, the doorman told me I couldn't use the hotel's facilities. Other resorts, inns, and hotels have always let me use their bathrooms without any trouble, including nanai, Summer ville, gav, samoa, salinas Maragogi, Japaratinga resort, Serrambi resort, ocaporã, brisa Maragogi, vila galé cabo, and Carneiro eco.

They canceled my stay just five days before the trip, saying the owner had sold the property. I had to scramble to rent somewhere else, and they gave me no help finding a replacement. Terrible.

The apartment was spotless, with friendly staff, great service, and an amazing view. Each apartment comes with one parasol and four beach chairs. Booking was easy, and owner Rebecca was professional and friendly. Fantastic complex. If I could give it 10 stars, I would.
