Really good.

Loved it!
The staff were courteous, though a few interactions felt less friendly. The inn is a short walk from the beach, but getting to the town center takes longer, and the upper rooms aren't accessible. The pool area is clean, though not very inviting, and I'd use a ride app to go out at night. Our room was cramped but had clean bedding and a working mini-fridge. The shower struggled to heat up, the light kept shorting out, and the curtains let sunlight through. Breakfast was the biggest letdown: service was slow despite several staff being around, tapioca wasn't available every day, the cold cuts didn't look fresh, and I found dishes with lipstick marks.
The good parts were the location, close enough to walk to the center and near the beaches, and the two receptionists, who were helpful and pleasant. The rest of my stay was poor. The furniture in the room was badly outdated, the shower gave electric shocks and its heating element smelled burnt, and the air conditioner filter was extremely dusty when we checked it. Breakfast was low quality.
The natural scenery around the destination is beautiful, and that was the only thing that kept our family trip from being a complete loss. Our nine days at Porto Riomar were full of frustration. The WiFi listed among the amenities barely worked. When we complained, the receptionist mocked us and didn't take the issue seriously. I wonder whether the owner knows how guests are treated, especially since I've seen other people describe similar problems here. We were also treated badly by receptionist Italo, who was hostile and sarcastic with us on many occasions. One morning, when I asked Pâmela to refill the bread and cold cuts at breakfast, she shouted at me. I felt awful, as though I had no right to be there even though I'd paid. Our room was meant for three but was tiny and uncomfortable. The wardrobes were old, and the bathroom cabinet was falling apart. There was one double bed and one single, but only one blanket in the room. When I asked for another, I was told their policy allowed just one more. The employee treated me badly when I tried to explain, so I gave up. We shared the blankets for all nine nights. Housekeeping was awful too: the room wasn't cleaned every day unless we asked, the sheets and towels weren't changed, and we often didn't get enough toilet paper.
