Pousada Coco Beach

The service from everyone at the inn was wonderful, and breakfast was simple but had some variety. A few items seemed to be left over from the day before, though. I stayed two nights in a downstairs room, and it felt stuffy and smelled of mold. There was a cockroach in the room too. The place is rustic and, even with AC, the room felt too airless. It really needs a good renovation.

The inn is in terrible shape and needs investment throughout. The walls are moldy and faded, the pool furniture is old and moldy, the umbrellas are torn and moldy, and the cloudy pool needs maintenance. The decorations at reception were covered in a thick layer of dust. I asked to see the room, and it was so small that the double bed was pushed against the wall. Anyone getting up at night would have to climb over the other person. We didn't stay even five minutes, but CVC and the inn refused to refund us, saying everything promised had been provided. It hadn't. The photos on hotel sites don't reflect the place as it really is, and I believe they were misleading. We plan to take legal steps to recover what we paid for a stay that never happened. They kept our money for a service we didn't receive. In response: my husband and I came to your inn. Don't try to mislead future guests by calling us ill-intentioned. I never asked my son to write that review, and he wasn't even on this unhappy trip. We're not people of that sort of character; I came here to warn anyone looking for information. The other comment is from another dissatisfied guest. So everyone can see what this inn is like, just read the polite response they gave to an unhappy guest.

We were there for six nights, and everything included in our stay was excellent. My husband, our children aged 6 and 5, and I chose Pousada Coco Beach for its location, close to the center, beach, supermarket, drinks shop, and pharmacy. It's simple and rustic, and some things could be better, but they'll get things sorted out over time. The staff, Guiu, Juliane, Larissa, and Riam, were all wonderful, attentive, and polite. We also met the owner, Patrícia, who was very kind. We had access to everything described: Wi-Fi, a homemade breakfast, a room for four, a private shower, TV, and a small pool, all at an affordable price. I saw some complaints in the reviews, but I'm sure those people hadn't checked the description. There are mosquitoes all over Brazil, especially around plants, and since we're allergic, we don't go anywhere without repellent. Pousada coco beach has our admiration ❤️

We bought a package through CVC and were completely disappointed when we arrived. It had been sold to us as a three-star standard place, but it was awful. The photos on hotel websites don't show what it's really like. The pool was cloudy, the exterior walls were moldy and badly in need of paint, and the breakfast area was tiny. The room and bathroom were both cramped, and the staircase to the first floor was far too narrow and steep. The place has been adapted into something it can't really be. There's no parking, so cars are left on the street. We were lucky to have rented a car and found another place. The inn refused to return the money to CVC. We didn't stay there, and I'll have to go to court to get back what I paid. I don't recommend it.
