Pousada Donna Maraka

The owners made our wedding stay feel really special. I got married on the beach near the pousada, and when they heard about it, they came by to celebrate with us. They’d also decorated our room with wedding photos on the walls, which was such a sweet surprise. I hadn’t known the place before, since a company arranged it for me, but I couldn’t have been happier with the choice. The whole pousada feels new, the staff were all so polite, and everything was spotless and smelled fresh. Breakfast was delicious, with something different and fresh each day. They tidied our room daily and made a new towel design each time. The air conditioning worked great. What a lovely place, I loved you all and Donna maraka! We’ll definitely come back.

We stayed from 30/11 to 02/12/2025 for our honeymoon, and it turned out even better than I’d imagined. I was nervous because it was an important trip, but I’ll remember it fondly and would absolutely return. The reception team were welcoming and attentive. The pool was always clean, and our room was clean and spacious. The bed was comfortable, the air conditioning worked well, and the TV got all the channels. Each day, housekeeping arranged the towels in a different, beautiful design. I almost hated taking them apart! Breakfast was delicious, with something new every day, including natural juices and even pizza. The pousada is near Maracaípe beach, which isn’t for swimming because it’s more for surfers. Uber works well there, so it’s easy to get to the central Porto de Galinhas beach. The pontal de maracaipe is close by too. Go see the sunset there, it’s perfect!

I stayed with a group of friends for Reveillon 25/26, and everything was wonderful. It’s a great location, just a few minutes from the beach and the parties. The service and friendliness of the whole team stood out, especially Aline and Téo, who were always lovely and ready to help with whatever we asked.

It’s a welcoming place to unwind, with a very quiet atmosphere, consistently clean rooms, a heated pool, and a thoughtfully prepared breakfast. The location is good and near the town center, but you do need a car. I’d highly recommend this excellent pousada.
