We picked this place for our honeymoon in Porto because it cost much less than the other places around the village. It’s under a ten-minute walk from there. The rooms are basic but cozy enough, and breakfast is simple compared with a regular hotel, though tasty.

We spent seven days at Hibiscus with my husband and felt welcome from the start. The reception staff were kind and helpful, and the kitchen team were lovely. Breakfast was especially nice: each day they sent us a menu so we could choose what to eat, and everything was delicious and made with care. A special thank you to Débora, who offered to prepare us a snack when she heard we had an early outing before breakfast. That thoughtful extra really stayed with us. Thanks to everyone, we highly recommend the place.

We stayed for six days near the end of 2025. It’s a quiet, simple place close to the beach, about 700 meters from the rafts and roughly 900 meters from the center. We used Uber to get around, which was inexpensive depending on the time. Everyone was pleasant, and the place was clean. The air conditioning worked without any trouble. They send the breakfast list on WhatsApp the day before so you can choose what will be served. Because of the menu and the time tours start, breakfast can be a bit late. Ask if you need it earlier than 7:30. We had no problems and felt well looked after.
