Pousada Porto Verano

The inn is simple, without the polish you'd expect from a three, four, or five star place. The breakfast was basic but generous, and service was good. It's about 200 meters from the central area and the beach. There are plenty of useful features: air conditioning, a mini-fridge, cable TV, private parking, a pool, and a billiards table. The room was small, and the floor needs a better clean because walking barefoot left my feet dirty and sticky. Pets aren't allowed, and there is no accessibility for people with disabilities.

We stayed for five days, and the spacious room had air conditioning. The breakfast was tasty and offered a good variety. The reception staff were very polite, and the breakfast team were attentive too. They cleaned the room every day, so it was always tidy when we came back from the beach, and they changed the towels as well. I really liked our stay and have no complaints.

I'd been a little wary after reading the reviews, but once we arrived, everything was really good and I had nothing to complain about. The people at the inn were kind and always available, and both the food and rooms were good.

The staff were all kind, and the kitchen team were especially nice. Breakfast was delicious. I had a great weekend and walked to Porto's town center several times, even coming back late. Our room had a hot shower and air conditioning, and the towels and bedding worked well for a couple. For what we paid, it was a ten out of ten and well worth it. What matters is having the experience and coming away with good memories.
