Chalé pitanga is very close to the beach and makes a great place to stay. Alexandre was always available whenever we needed something. Breakfast at pousada rancho paraiso was great too. I definitely recommend it.

The hosts made the stay especially easy, with helpful guidance on water, outings, groceries, restaurants, and more. Chalé Pitanga itself is beautifully put together, even better in person than in the photos, and it had everything we needed. It was spotless and well cared for, with comfortable beds and excellent linens and towels. Tatuamunha beach is a real paradise. We loved learning about the efforts to protect the beach and its nature, and we even saw manatees in the sea near shore during a boat trip. The chalet is quiet, with great internet and birds for company. It’s an easy walk to the beach, even for my elderly parents, and the river is close by too. My family and I loved our time there. I could happily spend my life at Chalé Pitanga. We’ll be back soon.
